A road trip to the 1886 Copper mining town of Jerome AZ. Then up and over the Mountains 7023 feet and back to Phoenix.
My wife enjoying the day.

The whole town is built on the side of a hill. The Mine shafts here go down into the mountain over 5300 feet.

The biggest vacuum claener I have ever seen.It was in the basement of the biggest house in Jerome, Look at the copper relays at the upper left of the pic. I would bet that when the maid switched this on every light in town dimmed.
