rose350, that does look good. I plan on doing carbon fiber when I get to the interior .( them lightning rods are awesome!).where did you get the brush material ?
I'm a tig welder at work so I made my own under plate out of stainless and got the brushes out of an older 4X4. They use brushes on the trucks that put the selector on the floor. I just welded the brushes to the plate.
Got me some FREE brand new hid CRYSTAL headlights 8000K bulbs an ballasts, from a youtube friend, had to take the headlight buckets out an trim them so the light would fit, installed the buckets back in along with the headlights, plugged in the ballasts.i didn't bother with mounting the ballasts, going to wait for a nicer day ,Raining like crazy here
Stock lights were dim as hell cause the almost dead battery,Note to self "charge the battery before taking pics"
i made an electric fan shroud out of some old diamond plate... well, i half fast half assed an electric fan shroud... i just wanted to make one real quick so i could start my car and i had the extra diamond plate kicking around in my basement... so then i start filling the radiator and i hear what sounds like water splashing off the pavement... i missed a plug in the block... passenger side a few inches from the oil dipstick hole... didnt feel like laying in a puddle to plug it so it will have to wait till later... i'll post pics later
Bought NOS turn signal chrome for it last week $105.00, now just need the grill extensions and all is good for my header panel parts list! (for my 79 Malibu)
I finally got around to making a new gauge panel for the GP dash. It has a separate plate for the radio and equalizer so they can be removed easier in case I have any issues. I used some VHT wrinkle paint on it and it turned out friggin awesome! The rest of the panel will be either a brushed or polished aluminum finish. The old AMP gauge on the left will be replaced by Trans Temp during the final install. Did all this with a drill and an old Craftsman jigsaw lol. Next up is to make a matching top console plate for the Kilduff Lightning Rods. new dash by bwollens1983, on Flickr

You know you don't have to use a fan shroud ? You could just use the fan only an install it right on the in Radiator using
"Radiator Zip Ties" the ties you stick them threw the fins an with the right kit you get foam pads so the ties will not damage the Radiator,I got mine threw speedwaymotors,I also used them for the trans cooler
Decided to clean out road dust in my trunk, what a can of worms I opened up, shop vac then washed with soap water only to see bubbles, when I popped them I saw wet road dust, I guess previous owner must have painted over without cleaning so out came the wire brush, 4 hours later painted flat black no rust though.
Can anyone tell me what the straps are for?
Also painted fabric on back seat with dupli-color fabric & vinyl paint, tested on a spare door panel & decided not to do the vinyl patch as the paint comes out too glossy, anyway I'll do the rest of fabric on seats give me another year to decide what to do with interior, camel toe I love, camel interior just cant love
