But it's a dry heat, right Paul?
It was like 66 degrees for a high here today.

tc1959, I always look forward to your posts about what you did with your G body cause you get out to alot of car shows and the weather there looks great even if the temp is on the warm side.. 🙂

I picked up some intake gaskets cause I must of damaged the ones I installed last year when I did my roller cam switch. There is some coolant sitting on the intake manifold..

Picked up a g force crossmemeber and the correct water pump for the non ac accessory brackets. Also picked up my rebuilt q jet. Good day id say 🙂

just ordered a new set of edelbrock intake gaskets that edelbrock recommends using with their e tec heads and performer rpm intake... the one i had bought was a cheaper set for under $20 and was .060 thick and they leaked.... so i spent the $45 like i should have to get the edelbrock .120 thick gaskets... also, going to use extra RTV gasket sealer and cross my fingers...

Took the family out for supper in the "G"

Finished buffing it today, didn't know it was this white lol....sorry, no pic..file too big 😳

my edelbrock intake gaskets came in so i pulled the intake to see how much water leaked and where... i wanted to cry when i saw water in my intake runners... :blam: all this money and time and hard work i have spent putting everything together and now i have to take it apart... I AM KING OF THE DUMBASSES... *flashback* i primed oil pump, found tdc, dropped in the dizzy, wired it up, ran spark plug wires, then my fatal mistake, i grabbed the garden hose, stuck it in the radiator to check for leaks... FILLED MY ENGINE WITH WATER... so today i pulled the dizzy, intake, plugs, etc... drained all the oil which was mostly water, poured a half dozen quarts of oil through the engine hoping to pick up any residual water, with the plugs out i turned her over by hand a few times and watched the water pour out... while the piston was at the point where no more water would come out, i held a shop vac up to the spark plug hole and blew compressed air through the intake runner to try n force out as much of the water as possible, then gave a small shot of WD-40 into the spark plug hole, then moved to the next one and did the same after i did all eight, i went back and did the shopvac/compressed air thing again to try n remove any wd-40... i am satisfied they are dry, or at least as dry as i can get them... going to button everything back up today cause it got dark last night and i couldnt see....
