was goind down the highway in od, when i got off the exit i heard a clack... posted the problem on here and MEANBUICKS, diagnosed it as the governor gear ... after i dropped the pan, i found the spring, fixed the spring, and re-used it cause i am broke till payday... hopefully she will last the next few days...
Energy bushings came in today so picked up some 1/2" grade 8 bolts for the lowers. I cut the lip off the lowers for the press in ball joint, welded in the Howe inserts for the screw in ball joints, installed the bushings and put the lowers back in.... 🙂
Received my autometer fuel pressure gauge back from repair. Found out, nothing is wrong with it, it's a bonified nascar gauge and needed a special sender unit. Since I purchased a new one thinking the sending unit was bad from autometer, they sent the correct sending unit......no charge. That was very generous of them. Now that's customer service!
man I'm lazy.... need to get my GP to the tune shop to figure out whats wrong with it!! runs awesome for 30 minutes then starts bucking, misfiring, etc... I did get NOS taillight emblems for it though!.. My Cutty has a bunch of codes I need to sort out and exhaust welded and get it smogged... needs tie rods , better rims and tires, interior etc etc.... man I need to get a third job to keep up with my G bodies!! nice seeing everybody working on their gbodies and showing them off!! keep it up guys! 8)
