Yesterday I took my Buick to Cars and Coffee and it was the only G-body in attendance. Today I moved my Olds G-body out of the garage so I could scoot my B-body into the middle for tire rotation and oil change. 🙂

Screwed in the lower ball joints and realized the spindle needed to be taper reamed for the ball joint. I had taper reamed the spindles for the impala ball joints I was using but this ball joint had a different taper and a lager diameter than the impalla ball joint. I reamed the spindles with the proper tapered reamer and then put the springs, shocks and sway bar links back in and tightened everything up. After that I had a beer and then started to get the engine ready to be lifted.... 🙂

I've been wanting a chrome radiator support for sometime now, just have not been able to find one I like that looks close to OEM. So I finally removed mine, sanded it down, primered it, and used chrome spray paint. A few coats later not so bad. It's not real chrome but at least it gives me the look I wanted. Then we drove around town and tried to take some better photos of the car.

Happy Memorial Day - THANK YOU to all the men and women who protect our country and our freedom every day.

I installed a plate to cover the hole from the 6spd in the floor, I spent way too much time removing the heater box, installed the Victor JR on the motor.
