I finally got my glove box door to work properly!
When i bought the car, the lock cylinder wouldn't turn... and when I took it apart to investigate, I couldn't make it go back together. On my last run to Ace Hardware, I finally remembered to take the lock cylinder with me so I could find the right size washer to use as a shim; this let me reassemble it at last.
A working glove box is a small thing, car wise, but psychologically it was a big deal for me. 🙂

got my open carrier that had a broken cross pin bolt out with the aid of a cutoff wheel... what a pain in the rear.
Been there used a stick welder and a 1/8 rod had a buddy switch the welder on and off quickly the bolt stuck to the rod and came right out tried it again on another rear and welded the damn pin in lolgot my open carrier that had a broken cross pin bolt out with the aid of a cutoff wheel... what a pain in the rear.
Tuned my engine today after fixing two vacuum leaks, the carb base gasket and the brake booster. With a Qjet, only use the Ac/Delco base gaskets. The aftermarket gaskets are too hard which causes them not to seal right.
Completed the restoration (restification?) of my aluminum 1980 Olds 442 wheels.
