Yeah, I can't believe the rust y'all have to deal with!
It's got 244,000 miles and I bet it's been a plow truck at least since the mid 90s. All in all, its not that bad. My 76 f250 with half the milage was way worse.Yeah, I can't believe the rust y'all have to deal with!
I get it. I just live in a different world. My 08 Sierra has 235,000 miles on it and not a spec of rust. My brother's 02 Sierra has over 200,000 miles and not a spec of rust on it. Both have lived outside the vast majority of the time. I don't envy y'all with what winter does to your cars. It's got 244,000 miles and I bet it's been a plow truck at least since the mid 90s. Exactly. I had 2x offers to advance within my company when we built new plants. First was Wooster Ohio & 2nd was Boone Iowa. As a car guy, I opted to remain in Texas 😎I get it. The trucks seem to get it the worst. I think it has a lot to do with the construction and the shape of the bodies creates a lot of places for dirt, salt and moisture to get trapped versus a car or SUV. On top of the fact that they are just commonly used for work.Yeah, I can't believe the rust y'all have to deal with!
Fixed the bed mount, the frame I thinking just gonna clean it up and put a plate over the backside. Weld it and bolt it perhaps. Idk what will get skewed if I remove brackets.
