nice work Jack
Thank you Chris.
Some of the welds aren't the greatest, but it looks like it will be strong enough to hold up the weight of a fully loaded transmission.
I also got to get back to reading your book. I got some catching up to do.
Thanks again, man.

When I got my Monte it had a system in it which was pretty impressive, I'm sure for the middle 80's. Alpine and Pyle components. The CD player was shot so I decided to replace it, even though I really would rather listen to the Pete Jackson gear drive and a cammed 355 through the Flowmasters. I opted for a 7inch motorized touchscreen, CD player. The old system sounds great playing my Led Zep, Ted Nugent etc. It isn't 2000 watts but is l

oud enough to drown out the exhaust and gear drive.

Swapped in a new master cylinder. Wouldn't crank over , just clicked so we have the charger on it. Got the mc on and with the plugs in did a bleed on the car. Just kept giving it little pumps, until the bubbles quit, then did it some more, got a few more bubbles, and kept going until I was confident we had all the air out.
We had swapped on some new brake hoses a few weeks ago and bled. The last time I moved it the pedal was real spongy. It has made fluid disappear and I just kept adding. I tried a swap with a wagner mc but the piston retaining clip was too big for the hydroboost booster so that didn't work out.
The front upper arm bushings get heated by the down pipe and fail. So I made me a shield out of some sheet I had.

Thank you, Mike.
I take it you also fabbed one yourself?

Yeah, for the 4L80E swap in the wagon last Winter. Huh, that long ago, eh?

Anyway... I chopped up a 3rd Gen F-body panhard bar to make it.

Not exactly on the Gbody....yet.
I used my recess today to make a cup holder.....I had to order a hole saw. To be continued...........
