took it out and washed it got a bunch of ?? from the younger dudes there... one of the kids asked me what I had under the hood cuz "nobody puts nice wheels on a car like that without packing something under the hood"...lol! they asked a bunch of ?? and did a somewhat nice burnout as i left... :wink: life is good!

Finally got it out because the weather broke! I took it down the road, shifted into 3rd and all of a sudden the rear tires locked up and the car stalled. Started right up and drove like normal but wouldnt go into 3rd at all Looks like I know where my tax return is going!

Picked it up from Maaco and drove home with the T-tops out! 66deg today, and in 2 days it will be 6 deg... WTF??

Got my passenger "60 seat" cut down to a 40 seat.Instead of having just 2 seats.now i got 2 seats an a console Thanks to 565BBchevy for giving me the idea for the seats an giving me some pointers,Also Thanks to lasttime78 for giving me info to fit the console an sending me those's pics

looking good there jon! ive done the 60/40 thing on a couple of bu's ive had,but ive always used 2 driver side seats(40's)and they mount right in.(this wouldnt work if you use head rest,i delete mine)ive used the 85-86 "brougham" seats(cutty,regal,gp,caprice)as they have the "gangster lean" recliner provission i need 8) are you gonna add a cup holder to the camaro console where the clock was? i may do another "40/40" setup in my aero,as i am contemplating a full length(front to rear)center console from a prelude,hmmmmmmmmmm......keep the progress coming,and happy building!!!! :wink:

Broke down and ordered the 442 gold stripe and decal kit - the car looks naked without it. Planned a visit with my mechanic friend for next weekend to do some engine work as well.

Thanks,Here's a pic of it before i cut the seat, i didn't do nothing at all the the slides,Just cut the metal an foam then pulled down the fabric

finnished up my firewall "rough-in"(still needs paint) and planted my 5.7 for mock up and fitment(i know,i know its a SORRY sbc,YES im a "old gen basher"3rd GEN EFI LS,FTW!!!lol,but this 84 is getting sold,and funding my ls transplants in my other g's :wink: )never mind the intake,im finnishing up my tpi set-up(waiting for the polishing of tubes,a powder coating of upper intake,and rear fuel rail mod 8) 0 and still waiting on my headers from machine shop!!!??? wtf-3 weeks to drill and tap a o2 sensor hole???!!! nehoo,at least 1 out of my 5 g's are getting some attention my k5 build has been getting ALL the attetion
