looking good there jon! ive done the 60/40 thing on a couple of bu's ive had,but ive always used 2 driver side seats(40's)and they mount right in.(this wouldnt work if you use head rest,i delete mine)ive used the 85-86 "brougham" seats(cutty, regal,gp,caprice)as they have the "gangster lean" recliner provission i need 8) are you gonna add a cup holder to the camaro console where the clock was? i may do another "40/40" setup in my aero,as i am contemplating a full length(front to rear)center console from a prelude,hmmmmmmmmmm......keep the progress coming, and happy building!!!!

Yes i already thought about going to get a drivers seat an put over there BUT i knew there wasn't a snow ball chance in hell that i would find the same color SAME seat,I did put the drivers seat over there PAGE 229 on this thread. i got a pic of them swapped,an yea I tried to pull the headrest out to see if they'd swap seats but i couldn't get the damn things out,an also saved my self 50 bucks plus gas money from not buying buckets,I am still on the look out for nice buckets though. i can get them around here for 25 each doesn't matter what there out of either,An yes i am looking on ebay for a nice stainless steel Cup Holder insert,
I don't know why i am worried about it though,i always buy bottles lol

installed my B&M pro ratchet shifter. wired in controller for the dual fans. and DROVE it up and down the street, to make sure it had all gears ( fresh rebuilt . never moved until now). now tidy up the PCM/ fuse block mounting and find a muffler shop.( still open headers).

some pics, yes battery was low from sitting so long.

It was actually spring-ish day here in NJ, so I took the 442 out of the garage, and started cleaning up some of the overspray and paint imperfections. Started working on detailing the engine and interior as well and got some pictures for this phase of the restoration. Also found time to install the shift cover boot. Just in time for the alleged snow Sunday into Monday... :blam:

Yesterday, got the holes drilled for my B&M shifter an drilled the hole for the cable, got the cable ran an shifter bolted down,Today painted the bolts that hold the shifter down underneath, Got the trans jacked up,cross member bolted back in,shifter cable
re adjusted, distributor cap put back on,put the console clock back in the camaro console for now until i get a cup holder,re routed my wiring an stuff for my triple gauges,Was thinking about mounting the Camaro e brake but i don't think i am going to use it,I got enough holes in the trans tunnel now, also ripped around on my dirt bike today 😀

removed my old door panels and opened up my new ones. will be installing them this week sometime.interior is coming along.

Body work will start this week... hate these ridiculous flames.. I have no clue what the previous owner was thinking..

Took my driver seat out wire wheeled the seat tracks, painted them. bolted the console in it's new resting place, bolted my seat back in, cleaned up the interior a bit, pulled it out of my garage revved it up a bit "open headers" an drove it around the drive way, 😀 i like the fell of the new jeep steering shaft. pulled it back in an covered her back up,

Thinking about painting the aluminum shifter plate a gauge panel black or polishing it .Not sure if i am goona use the chrome shifter trim bezel.

What would you guys do ?
