Imported a G-body expert from Switzerland and together we pulled the motor and transmission out of the wagon. Tomorrow we change cams in the fresh 350 I built two years ago. It's a roller cam block (with fuel pump pad drilled ), so I'm pulling out the unfired GM 24502476 (330HP 350) hydraulic cam and replacing it with the GM 14097395 Ram Jet 350 roller cam I found on EBay. If I am lucky, the Goodwrench 350 we pulled out may only require a hone, and later I will drop in some GM 12514101 pistons, also found on EBay. More posts tomorrow.
