What did you do to your G-Body today? [2019]

OK now have them all loaded up but still need that dash.
Have I seen this Monte you speak of?

And since we're talking Montes, I met a first-gen Monte today on my way to work. Red/black top. Reminded me of my long-ago Red/blk top genuine factory 4 speed 70 Monte.

Cut up some new plug wires for the driver's side.
I'll do the passenger side later.

It's also developed a wicked exhaust leak somewhere near the passenger manifold. Vibrates the whole car. It does it from 45mph to 70 then abruptly stops. You'd think I blew the back of the manifold off. Gonna order that jegs exhaust kit soon. Since I got that crossmember in I can actually have a proper exhaust.

I put my Alpine 149BT in the GP today. Got the 3 sets of rca cables in their right place and the front right speaker wasn't sounding too healthy. The are 6" Alpine R component speakers but they have been abused and are more than a few years old. So I took a trip to my friends store and picked up Phoenix gold elite component speakers. They are a little larger than the alpines so after a bit trimming and new wiring they sound real good.

Hood back on the coupe for the first time in something like 18 months. Roughed out the damage where the prior owner creased it with the cherry picker boom pulling the engine/trans out. Why they didn't pull the hood escapes me.

Started doing dash repair to the corner of the gauge surround. Here is before, then after 1st pass with 3M bumper repair epoxy...
