What Did You Do To Your G-Body Today? [2020]

No pics but got to do a little more wiring today. I need to order a couple sensors and an adapter for the map sensor. Kinda stupid that the harness doesn’t have the right connector for the map and requires an adapter harness for the map. Even the Holley 2.5 bar map sensor uses the GM style plug which still needs the adapter. Why not just put the correct connectors?

raised my tail pipes. previous exhaust hung real low so the tailpipes were as well. Made some little brackets out of some galvanized straps i got laying around.

Ignore the uneven mudflaps, it's been like that for 6 years. off and on been searching for some of the same cheesy parts store BUICK flaps on ebay.

Had an "I'm an idiot" moment while working on the Bonneville. I recently made up a plug to cap off the heater core return port on my radiator. After looking at it tonight, I realized it would be a lot easier if I just put a plug in the port on the intake manifold and used the port on the radiator, instead making janky fittings to plug off the radiator port. Luckily, I already had the correct sized plug and enough 3/4" hose to reroute everything without a trip to the parts store. Works great and looks much better.

Oh, and I also vacuumed it out since it was in there.

Got a call from Mosteller (Mechanic) Today, he finally got the to the Oil Pan and ask if I wanted to also replace the Rear Oil Seal which I completely forgot about. I said yes of course. Why not I have to replace almost everything else too. Not that it is a bad thing, I really believe this car is worth saving.

#2 passenger side rear rail is out.
And new one is ready to be burned in ( tomorrow)
Need pick up rust converter for the chassis mount .I am thinking weld a washer but not sure if it's worth it this junk will never see winter driving again while in my ownership.
