On Friday I picked up my powder coated 3rd gen FBody "upgrade" swaybat from my friends school.

He teaches auto mechanics in a high school and has a powder coating machine in the "classroom"

I supply the powder and the students learn how to powder coat parts.

Pretty sweet deal!!!
i call b.s,are you sure you're allowed in and or within xx amount of feet of a school zone's..

I decided since weather was beautiful, to take my Cutty out to stretch its legs. Got a stinking screw in the tire...smh. Don't know if its repairable since its a bias-ply 520....may be have to be replaced:blam:View attachment 136375

you can patch it with something like this..,....plugs on a bias ply don't work

Still waiting on my cam before I can make this thing more than a long block. >:[

I only ordered the mf two weeks ago. thanks summit. it's coming directly from crower, so i guess much like my pistons (not from crower) it will just show up at my house one day. What is this a cable company?
"Yeah, we can send em. You gonna be home 8am to 7pm all of march?"

OMG, 2 whole weeks!? Sounds like what we had to do since the dawn of hotrodding up until the 21st century

Seriously though, can't be a ton of Buick camshaft buyers clamoring for that particular engine/grind. You wanna not play with Chevrolet, be prepared to wait for being "different"

Back in the dark 1980s, I waited for FOUR MONTHS for carbs on a tunnel ram package from Summit. Of course, they charged my card right away for the whole sale, then shipped the carb linkage, then a couple weeks later, the intake, and then finally the carbs...after summer was pretty much over.
