Found out that my engine that I thought had a spun main bearing was actually a noisy water pump.

So now I can move forward and start to finish this thing!

Seriously though, can't be a ton of Buick camshaft buyers clamoring for that particular engine/grind. You wanna not play with Chevrolet, be prepared to wait for being "different"

Back in the dark 1980s, I waited for FOUR MONTHS for carbs on a tunnel ram package from Summit. Of course, they charged my card right away for the whole sale, then shipped the carb linkage, then a couple weeks later, the intake, and then finally the carbs...after summer was pretty much over.

Yeah, but in 2020 when they brag about having next day shipping, being able to buy things with a click of a button, they should actually have parts in stock that they say they do. There's no excuse for any down time anymore. It's not right for them, or anyone to take money and basically leave it up to chance as to whether or not you'll get your parts. I bought it with the notion it would ship in 2 days as per their site. since then every day it gets longer and longer ship-by-date on their site. It's now up to march 2nd of the ship-by-date on their site. No email. No tracking number. Nothing.
and their new site is terrible.

Worked a little bit more on my hard top conversion. Still need to put one last layer of bondo on both sides to Moe it all smooth, getting there slowly. I was able to get the underbody prepped for the bed liner.

I personally like the hot rod look that has the front lower than the rear, but you should do it the way that you want it.

I ordered new replica interior door handles for my Caballero in early December. I received the passenger side handle right away, but the driver side is the one that I really need. So far I have gotten 3 different e-mails extending the delivery date. As of the most current ETA I will be able to get the part in April. So until I receive my part, I have to roll the window down to get out.

I haven't even so much as gotten a courtesy "we have no idea when you'll get your sh*t" email. your situation is just as bs if not more.
