What Did You Do To Your G-Body Today? [2020]

I just delivered my 87 monte carlo ss aerocoupe to the shop with ls3 and 6l80 to get the swap completed this winter. Also delivered aeromotive stealth fuel tank, proform radiator, dakota digital dash and rack and pinion steering all to be installed.

That shop is going to have a great time fitting that 6L80E. I am guessing they will destroy the tunnel before telling you it won't fit, charge you for the labour, and then sell you a TH350.

Be extremely cautious.

I'd rather listen to the wind noise than you sing-along to Celine Dion. Get a remote microphone.

The sun reflecting off the glass and paint is actually pretty damn impressive.
For the record I was belting out Wilson Phillips 😉! I was impressed with the reflection as well, so were my girls. If the camera was inside y'all would've heard them cracking up laughing from me givin it the beans!

Finally mocked up some homemade adjustable sway bar end links for the rear:

Although I’ve got problems with how to attach the mount, should I just weld that thing onto the crossmember or should I try to mount it with a bolt? I’ve got about half an inch or so to work with space wise:

More used junk had an old Edelbrock Street master intake with the coolant nipple snapped off so I welded a block of aluminum in the hole and cleaned her up along with a old set of Moroso valve covers I had laying around for years

I installed a CS 144. 140 amp alternator on my red car today. Had to reclock it 180 degrees, install an adapter and lengthen the top bar adjustment.0ED24B31-8D87-4D4F-911F-656FCD741296.jpeg

Wha? I knew this was a thing on my GMT400s but didn't realize that family of alternators went back so far.

it was 4* earlier, started it. i start it more often than most, about once every other week, mainly because its right outside my window. also im too lazy to take the battery out. 😛

slow going at first but once it gets fuel its fine.
