I did some rust retaliation yesterday... rebuilta cab mount/rocker panel interface... last night, and into today. Will carry on fitting the floorpans in on drivers' side. Have new bucket seat mounts ill attach later and tack weld in with some Monte Carlo LS seats i found in Ft Mac at the best scrapyard ive ever shopped. Will post more once i burn through some daylight. And to think, this is practice for cab corners i wanna do on my dually, and my 6.0L 2500hd.
Stay busy folksies,

.030 over 350 truck block... 3.75" crank, retrofit roller(225/231, .501/.509, 112deg ils), edelbrock rpm heads, edelbrock streetmaster s.p..

Meant to fit under a ezefi throttle body. I ran this combo years ago, but couldnt figure out a wobble that never went away until i took the crank to a machinist who wouldn't set it up on his balncer. So... i had a complete rolling assembly re installed and finishing up several million little naggers until i can hear that beast run without loosening every bolt on the engine all by itself.

Kid you not! Couldnt keep an air cleaner tight, distributor would loosen itself, broke a bellhousing due to loosened bolts on it... a nightmare.

All reassembled and waiting to return home.

Driving it back and forth to work from my first place on my own. Moved to Stuart Iowa a few days ago.
Why Stuart? Because they're the only ones that called me back. Regal is not a fan of 75mph. It gets a touch warm. I think the belt is slipping/flopping at 3krpm.

Welded more stitches on old Buford for a while... made screw holes, took them out, welded some holes... vaccumed the floor, wrlded some more... if itll hold mig wire, it should keep weather and fumes out. Ill be able to put on seam sealer almost as good as the oshawa boys did way back when lol.

Stay busy folsies,

R.

The bottom side lap joints i'll finish once i get underneath when i move one exhaust tube over (since a BFH was used to make clearance for one of the 3"tubes). Ill also be installing the 5601 springs too once the floor and exhaust are a bit more presentable. Those springs should lower the back end a good 2.5". (I really hope!!).

Replaced the aftermarket Pioneer stereo with a mid 90s Delco unit. Not period correct but it looks better and does not interfere with the cup holders. Best part is that I. Can hit one button at a time. The old one the buttons where so small that I. One program presets 1&2 to the same channel just to make sure I hit the right one. Now I just need to clean the dash.
