Awesome progress. You're really moving along.
Thanks TGP, I wish I could take credit but my friend is a maniac and has really been chipping away at this project. Yesterday he put in a 12 hour day in my garage while I was at work. I put in three hours after I got home. After showers we grabbed the patient brides and went out to dinner at 9:15pm. Luckily one local bar and grill’s kitchen was open until 10pm! 🍻

Sounds like a good friend and good brides. You're blessed.

So, I did a thing this afternoon.

It's a semi-roller, meaning no engine, but, had a transmission. Hood IS included, but, not on the car. They just took it off the hinges. He swapped the rims for camaro ones.... meh.

Has a title though, and, is a true 88 SS.

What happens to it awaits to be seen after its home and cleaned up. Might or might not have weird rust, i havent been underneath, and, for the price I was willing to find out at home. But previous owner did let a shop cut a chunk out of the quarter panel.

Only thing I can guarantee is it WONT be getting an ls-swap, at least not so long as I have it!

This was a week ago, but finally installed a shifter boot after swapping out the tri-five type shifter for a more standard chevelle / camaro type.
No more shifter contacting the dash below the radio (the crack is visible in one of the pictures).
Also, the shifter does not contact the seat despite being console-style (I think).
