What did you do to your G-Body today 2024

I might have went a tad further than just the window trim….

Just need to finish the upright trim pieces that go below the trunk lid and need to find the lock retainer clip. Unless someone has one they’re willing to sell, that would be greatly appreciated
Well, my mind’s as sharp as a tack…. only after I give up on trying to find what I wanted to find:

Right in the glovebox along with the conversion brackets for a 1.5 DIN radio.

😆. Welcome to the saga of my memory and how it systematically deletes everything that it believes I might find useful at some point in the indeterminate future.

Y'all apparently have some different ideas about what ought to be on a pizza; must be a regional thing. About all I see there is some melted cheese on a slice of flatbread, with maybe some marinara sauce hidden in there. So, to borrow/mangle a classic line from a historic commercial, "Where's The Meat????" Italian Sausage or Pepperoni for preference, maybe some "shrooms" and sliced onion, and there's always room for more cheese. Get that shredder out, son and start a-shavin'.

And, if you have a yen for a little sweet to go with spicy/hot, take a walk on the weird side and toss on some cubed/chunk pineapple! Two benefits; the sweet offsets the heat from the sausage or pepperoni and it drives the purists bugf*** nuts.

Most people around here love to put pepperoni on it, personally I am a fan of just plain cheese pizza. But all for the special pies, brisket sounds delish and honestly I love pot roast so could see that working as well but have never seen someone around here do that.

Sounds like it is time for you to be an innovator.

Put the ignition back together yesterday after performing the valve spring and stem seal replacement a week ago. Cleaned the oil fouling off the spark plugs with a MAP torch to see how well that trick works. It did clean them pretty well visually.
Ever use either from starting fluid can seems to work sprayed directly on insulator

I have not tried that, learned about the torch from Uncle Tony.

In preparation of a front end rehash I combined this dust shield IMG_20240521_173137942~2.jpg

with this dust shieldIMG_20240521_172949401~2.jpg

to make this, which is far from finished:IMG_20240523_191358270_HDR.jpg

Nevermind the terrible tacks that barely stuck, they're doing exactly what's necessary for now. Again, far from finished.

I also tinted my windows with some cheap cling style film that's 05% VLT:

It's not quite as nice in person due to bubbles and I still have to add the eyebrow and buy another $13 roll for the back window, but it was worth the $30 I've invested and bubbly tint suits this car perfectly at the moment. It looks like it's been there for years.
