F*cking thermostat housing is leaking again. Was fine last night. Fine this morning. Just started again. Mother******.
I dont mind redoing it, but the fact that I have to redo it after I JUST did it less than 12 hours ago is what annoys me. At least the hose will come off easilly.
Flatten the surfaces with a file.

Whoops.

Nice!!! In case you don't know they do make a GBody Malibu
I have a '79 Malibu resin kit that I have to finish but haven't seen another one in a yew years & a Monte Aero stocker that I haven't figured out which car to make it as. For what is "mass" produced Johnny Lightning/Auto World has a '81-'87 Regal which I have three off. I would love to see more of our cars (and actually some of the members real cars) made to add to the fleet.

No i mean they actually made a Malibu right from the factory not a resin. I will go find mine and post a pic

Mr.Sony sometimes the aluminum housings suck and don't want to seal. I have a cast iron housing on my 301 and it never leaks anymore. Also try surfacing it on a sheet of sandpaper on a pane of glass. Then schmear a bit of UltraBlack on the gaskets when you button it up.

I worked on some test aircraft in Mojave Desert going for their certification and we would be written up for a complaint if we were not wearing gloves working on the aircraft if it was parked outside the hangar. I was working there during the summer so the planes with its polished skin got real hot and would fry your fingers if not protected....
I can believe that. I had an aluminum shifter knob in my truck for a full 3 days in the summer, then went back to the stock plastic.
