More flipping house projects.
Dead tree carcass, how disgusting!!!
Damn house had squat for shelving. Real wood 1x12's were cheaper than the particle board crap so some time staining and installing and bam. Place to put towels and TP in the bathroom.
Yeah wood shelves don't match white baseboard trim blah blah, I personally feel wood belongs stained.
Blew most of the rest of the day replacing torn window screens, running errands, and other crap.
Also got the shelves put in for the pantry. 36" deep closet, previous owner had 10" shelves. Ripped the old stuff out, bought some 16" wire stuff and ran it sideways for maximum food storage ability. They don't make anything deeper than 20" and didnt want to waste the other 16" of depth.
This whole house project stuff is just brainless, everything is already designed, available and laid out, don't need to do much thinking or planning. I damn near cut and welded 20" shelf brackets to get 36" stuff but I realized why, just turn it 90 degrees and lay it out like this.
The pantry does need a light though still.
