Got the missing bracket in Friday, and went out to the shop to finish it up. Not fully happy with the end result, but not really experienced in bodywork, I think it came out decently.

It's just above freezing and raining and windy but I went to my new bosses house and got the new suburban running. It runs perfect! It has brakes and the trans works. No boost because the hat is missing and I don't even know what it looks like to finde one. Because it's a 6.2 with an added turbo set-up. I'll figure it out though

I just did some research it's a 6.2 with an ATS turbocharger kit now I need to find and air cleaner set up for it
Take some pictures of the top of the thing you have. Looks like it is two halfed. Draws air in the top and pushes air in the bottom? If that is the case an aircleaner could be modified to work? Good score by the way!

I pulled the Regal out of the garage so I could pull my 03 Taurus in and install a coil pack and 02 sensor on it, I thought I would have to pull the upper intake off but looking at Youtube videos I found out I could just pull the cowl plastic and water shield to give me room and now it runs great and no codes came back.

Cool, just inherited in-laws' 05 Sable. I could see a plug wire arcing in the back, figured it's never had plugs since they bought it in '06....was not looking forward to pulling intake for wires and plugs in the rear. Glimmer of hope in your post!
