More wiring upgrades. Swapped out some weather pack connections for the smaller, more compact deutsch versions. Less conspicuous, easier to hide, faster to assemble. Somewhat bummed out that I can't do the last swap after all. Not enough tail left in the existing harness to allow me to clip the existing ends and sub in the deutsch ones. Would have to completely replace one of the harness wires and since it all still works okay, no practical point to it.

I put the short block and head into the Bonnewagon. I planned on taking it to the rebuilder next week. Now they are saying snow. Rats.

Ace Crankshaft. The guy in charge is John? He is from right here in Bellerose and seems to run a tight ship. Or was he John the Heads guy from years ago? Bob cut my front bearing retainer perfectly so I am confident in him too.

Spent most of the day lighting up the house. We didn't decorate last year since we had just moved in and was trying to get settled in during the holidays.
Soooo, took more time figuring the layout, running into chaotic stores to get more lights, then more lights lol. Just finished up an hour ago. We wanna do a few more things, but the majority is done and good timing since rain is on the table the next couple days.

This morning I had a load of firewood delivered $200 for a cord because I haven't done any of my chores around the house this fall. Some friends of mine are closing there mower shop for good so I went over there and grabbed a few things I needed free of charge. Got a Briggs & Stratton vanguard 17 horsepower engine for the splitter, a carburetor air cleaner set up I needed for the other splitter, and a Stihl 009 chainsaw. Then I came home stacked firewood and carved another turkey while Janet put up the Christmas tree. I think tomorrow I'm starting on the suburban in the morning.

Haha, eventually. However, that's the carport and the shop will go in the backyard at some point. My neighbor that builds roundy round cars has a 24x36 block garage, I'd like to have one similar in size built.
Speaking of roundy round cars, first pic is the one he just finished yesterday putting new panels on, 2nd pic is the one that got dropped off earlier for new body panels. Unreal what he can do in just several days!!! I've seen him do 3 full front clips at 4 days/each!!
