Why not just put a 5 gallon bucket on the floor below the bench underneath the hole?

Got antsy and implemented a short term solution.

Long term I have more of my own T56s to break down and want a more permanent solution. Next I did a thing.

Just need to split the guts off the main shaft and see what I'm dealing with. These things are damn easy to tear down.

Put the new receiver on the Rust-erado. They say to use the bumper bolts to line it up. After several sketchy situations with blocks of wood, a floor jack, and big prybars, I decided that might not work so good. Surprisingly, all 6 frame bolts lined up perfectly without the bumper bolts or a hitch.

Wonder why?

Wheels look pretty good, though, eh?

Those factory GMT800 hitches were made out of used beer cans I swear. Now the question is how much weight do you feel comfortable hanging off of that frame? I feel the need to gloat, so I'll leave this here. It's my 98.

This was after a big round of maintenance October 2018. I miss the north, but I damn sure don't miss the rust. I'd have a winter beater for sure to keep my current trucks from going back to mother Earth.
