Picked up a couple tub/shower combos and decided to back the rig into the garage to see how it fits. Trailer is 8.5x20' square plus the V nose. Truck is self explanatory.

Took Sunday off and went to a car show. Big turnout with loads of great cars. I was only compelled to take pictures of one. I'm a bit of a turbo brick nerd (Volvos) and this thing is a visual orgy. V70R AWD chassis with this body swapped on. Guy even went to the trouble of swapping the interior stuff. Had a fresh 130mph club sticker from our local drag strip too.

UGH

I would give parts of my body I shouldn't in exchange for that pickup.

Late model boxy power stroke, extended cab long bed, aluminum 8 hole alocas, red/white two tone, no rust. HEAVY BREATHING

Trade for my Turbo Wagon? :p

Took the intercooler scoop off the TBSS. Because I curbed it. Now I get to fix it.

If you have seen my Camry rant thread at all, you may have seen my sister returned the car to me this past weekend. I've been tinkering with it after work and kind of enjoying it. The replacement gas cap came in today, so I put that on- pretty labor intensive job, I tell ya  One of the things my sister broke was the Gentex auto-dimming mirror w/compass that I had added. So for now I just removed it and put the original flip-tab mirror back in. Then I went through the interior and cleaned out all the garbage she left. I went through the glovebox and found some cool/interesting artifacts-

Original Window Sticker-

Business card for the salesman who sold it to my Dad-

Finance paper that shows his trade-in, a 1995 Lumina. I remember that car well.

Some of the maintenance receipts I have for it. Lots are dealership reciepts.
IMG_20190417_184748049_HDR-1603x2137.jpg

Unfortunately they only date back to around 2010, because around then, the car got broken into and the bastards tore through the glovebox and threw everything out onto the street. And it was pouring down rain, so all of those receipts got ruined.

Before my sister had the car, I had both sets of original keys and fobs, one with the dealership lot tag still on it, the valet key, and the credit card wallet key. My sister managed to lose all of those except for one of the regular keys, and it's so worn out that it won't open the door locks. So I'm gonna have to go to the dealership and get a key cut from the VIN.

Now I need to borrow a picoscope from work so I can see what my oxygen sensors are doing.

Sunday my wiper motor or the Dodge pickup showed up, set it on the shelf until today when the Dorman wiper linkage showed up from Rockauto. Zipped the cowl apart, went to bolt the wiper motor to the new linkage, aaaannd, it's wrong. Didn't open it or other to check that the box has a completely different part number than what I ordered. Thanks Amazon! Now I get to wait for them to ship me another one, there doesn't even seem to be the option of speaking with a human, or having them overnight one since it was they who sent me the wrong part, not I who ordered the wrong part.
