Nah wrong crowd, I need more like Lernerville Speedway-type drunk people:mrgreen:

Speak of the devil I have a buddy that lives almost right at Lernverville, he grew up in Cabot and during the summer they would get drunk and then drive a tractor around and try to tackle each other off of them

Fixed a doooodge van.

It's my buddies man-van he hauls lumber, snowblowers and I borrow it from time to time to pick up 10ft steel.

He got lightly rear ended this winter and found out the previous owner (before his parents bought it and then he bought it from them) got rear ended in the same spot and the body shop bondo'ed the rear bumper. There was a few spots the previous repairs were failing pretty hard also (bondo flakes and rust) Body shop wanted a few grand to fix it and it had liability and blah blah insurance didn't pay so he asked me to fix it and I said sure, I can make a few hundred bucks. I backed into the same corner (this time the quarter with my rainier ) like 2 weeks later since I was an idiot and scraped the quarter up.

I rough sanded the bumper back into shape with some bondo, shot some 2K to bring it generally into shape, shot color and cleared it.

I still need to wet sand the clear since a few bugs flew into it for the 2 minutes I had the garage door open and flopped around causing runs. No post accident pre repair photos, its a van, nobody cares.

Dodge Marathon Blue is a sweet color though. Must find something to paint!

Pulled my Bird out of storage with the plan of getting the fluids moving around and burning the two-year-old gas out of it. Sucks that the AC isn't working. But I knew that ahead of time. Not worth fixing at this stage.View attachment 117650

Oh damm nice!!

Those things disappeared off the flat earth!!

Spent 8 hours trying to tame this...
