Maybe?

EDIT - Ideas and concepts: https://forum.hptuners.com/showthread.php?8490-SD-tuning-for-E38-E67-ECM-s

Alright, definitely gonna wipe out desoot mode. The VE in EFILive is more difficult than the GenIII stuff, but thank God I don't have to tune those damn coefficients. They have virtual VE and I know HPT has something similar, but they seem to operate differently.

yesterday met the unk at a car show after class, i think everyone there came up to check out his t/a

I had to put up a wire fence to keep the goat in the yard. Developers working on the south and behind my property, have buried part of the old fencing that is actually on the other property, allowing the goat to get out a couple of days ago. Would have been nice if they had given me a few days notice, like we asked to them a couple of weeks back. Their response then, "Oh, we won't be working over there for quite a while".

After dinner I tossed the whole fam-damly into the HellKitty and went for a cruise. The town has moved to a lapping of main street model rather than the normal hard park cruise nights. The girls had fun hearing the blower whine and feeling the rush of acceleration.

Played with the Launch Control set at 4500rpms too... BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT

Now I get to take it all back apart to ready it for the drags this weekend.

that was nice of you to put the seats back in for the family.... 🙂

While the Whaler is in the water I wanted to re-paint the trailer. I had made brackets for ten inch Stoltz rollers. The Whaler wants to be supported along the keel. I found the roller axles rusty and stuck. I also found a broken weld on one of the brackets. Then the rear slipper spring hangers were rusted away so those needed replacing too. Sigh....OK, I got new hangers and welded them to the old brackets so they are bolted from two sides. Super strong. Then I re-welded the broken roller bracket and opened the axle holes on all the brackets for more clearance. Then I got at the rusty spots with an angle grinder and a coarse wire brush wheel. I got some paint on the de-rusted items so they won't rust again in the rain. I need to now paint the entire thing at once because I use Pettit Trailercoat. It is a moisture cured polyurethane and once the can is opened the clock is ticking. I put it in the fridge to slow that down. The main thing is the broken parts are fixed and now I can get my grandson to help paint it next week. EDIT: The center beam is 3" steel that I bought and had galvanized and installed down the center. It warped during the dip so I had to shim all the rear brackets to conform to the hull. Nothing is ever easy.

I've been building a patina C10 for a while now. I worked on the bed floor set-up last year (building subframes to add structure to the bed while raising the floor to clear the suspension etc.).

One issue I constantly encountered was delays when needing the bed on/off the chassis for validating dimensions & building brackets. Because the truck sits ~5" off the floor @ ride height & my shop is uber-crowded, the typical engine hoist style lift isn't practical.

So, I've been working on a budget hoist set-up that can be easily disassembled, can be stored 'over' a vehicle, or used outside in the parking lot. Finished it up yesterday & works like a charm for under $250. Now I can move the bed on/off solo when I need vs. waiting for 3 other bodies to coordinate schedules for the task....20200627_084444.jpg20200627_084503.jpg20200627_084452.jpg20200627_084630.jpg20200627_084723.jpg

Fixed my weed whacker again. Pulled apart and cleaned the stock carb (tossed the China boi back in the box), popped that back in with some fresh 40:1 and got it running. Used the fancy carb tuning screw driver to fine tune the mixture. It rips now.
