Spent the day wiring on the '52 F-1 at Mr. Bill's Hot Rod Shop again today. Mr. Bill is my buddy, Timmy's, dad. I've known Timmy since age 5, so call it extended family. The Ferd has a "465hp" SBF backed by a C4 and a 9", all on stock replacement suspension and 14" TT2s. 😱 I'm putting a Painful universal wiring kit in from nose to tail with a Flex-a-Lite Mojave heater, 2 wiper conversion kit, and NVU 3-n-1 gauges. The green car is a fiberglass 41 Willys with a 572/TH400 drivetrain which has been nothing but problems since it's been built. It's pretty, though. Pics are probably out of order.

Places the plow won't fit? You might as well sell the plow. I do my 200' drive way with an 828OXE.
I don't really want to get rid of the plow as that was my "plan A" for snow removal, but we'll see what happens. It can only do the larger parts of the driveway; it can't do around the cars or any of the sidewalks, so even with the plow, I have a use for the snowblower.

I'd be lying if I said the snowblower wasn't an impulse buy, but in the condition it's in and for what I paid, I don't regret it at all and I'm kinda eager to try it out. Of course now that I have it, it probably won't snow again.

Ah, Supercharged, I know the fingers will heal over time but an outfit called Dragon offers voice driven software so that you can speak your message and it gets converted into words on the screen. If you have to do extended or complicated input activity for your work, being able to verbally input the data might save you some pain.

McLellan, from your reply, I am prone to think that your supplier went way offshore for a manufacturer for those lights just to get as cheap a per unit price as possible. That might explain the shitty quality of the housings and fittings and his reluctance to offer any warranty or product assistance. You might just end up doing the final fit and trim yourself to get the degree of finish that would make you happy it seems that a lot of new products now seem to show up with the casting flash still attached or with sharp edges and burrs and cheap assembly hardware.

A Toro 2-Stroke, you say? Wonder if it is oil injected like some trail bikes or if you have to go the premix it route? The two strokes do have gobs of power for their size; kind of like the old Detroit Diesels.

Well seeing how my most recent non-G body project is my left ring finger and seeing how it has insanely reassumed the shape of what was missing, here's today's progress for those who are interested.

I'll say this about Sunday night. There was a significant void under my ring fingernail when I first whacked it but if it heals half as good as this then I'm in business! My research suggests I should heal better than this, but I like to keep an open mind.

I'm absolutely blown away by what looks like the quickness of the healing. On 2nd thought, perhaps this is the dent in my finger I'll have to live with forever.

It takes premix, no oil injection.
