What did you do to your non-G Body project today [2024 edition]

damn, the cheapest assemblies are $370 each on RockAuto!

I've been looking for some for the '14 Miata Club I'm flipping. Same deal on the headlights.... $1k a pop for OE units. I've searched half-assed for aftermarket options but everything that comes up screams fugly (ricer vibes) vs an OE appearance. Sucks for sure.

These were OE appearance and a good fit. I hope you find something.

trying to be the last poster in the thread for the year? 🤣

actually , I'm thinking moving forward into 2025 we should combine threads for .....
"What did you buy for your non-gbody?" and "what did you do to your non-gbody?"

two separate threads seems kind silly

Been having fun rebuilding the plow. Started fixing it with metal I had (1/8”). then bought some 16 gage that the plow is really made of. Patching lasts two years, I’ll be happy. Got the wrong mig wire and will never weld with flux cord again if I can get away with it!

my flux core has treated me very well. It's a harbor freight titanium 125 flux core welder. i think i'm using .030 wire, can't quite remember. Usually when i burn through i can turn the voltage down and wire speed up a toooouch and fill the holes.

Should be able to step down to .025 on that thing. I really want one for the trailer and other small jobs so I don't have to deal with the 220V extension cords every time.

It just had way too much spatter but I also (after reading instructions) saw I was supposed to change a power conductor around, but was better with the gas shielding on. I’m guess I’m used to gas shielding to weld, and should have read under the hood instructions? This is only the second time I’ve used it. My main one is a Miller 210 and ran out of gas after 5 years 😵‍💫

First fire of my new pizza stove, burning charcoal and hickory and it’s working just fine. Let it cool a couple hours, clean off any burn off from manufacturing. Going to make a few pizzas for dinner later on.
