Got put on driver detail today for family fun day with the kids, yay. Went to a fall festival that also had a car show. I originally planned on taking the Cutlass, but with no heat the kids would complain. Anyways, came across this Coronet 440 with some meaty 295's on the back, and whattya know...an LS with 6 speed lol. To all the haters out there, hard to beat this combo!...

Wife left her windows down last night so we had to clean up & dry up the front part of the interior since it rain over night. But before I could get started on that had to plant the last cat since she passed this morning. We were expecting that so I already had a hole ready next to her brother. She had a good 17 years.

Sorry to hear. Never a good day when a pet passes.

WIth the 'rona this summer was kinda a waste and the wife and I didn't take a roadtrip like we usually do for a week.

Threw one last minute hail mary trip on the calendar and shot down to TN/KY since neither of us had ever been there. Smoky mountains park was friggin packed, but still nice. Avoided most of the tourist trappy stuff in Pigeon Forge and hit up the park instead. Weather in the upper 60's to low 70's the whole time. Hiked about 18 miles and spent 4 days there. Would go back and do some more sight seeing, ran out of time on some stuff and other things were closed or sold out.

The ole' quarter million mile Rainier chooched good on the way down and back. Just shy of 265k now. Cats rattled like a **** half way through KY on the way down so they are due for a sawzall job.

The loss of her wasn't bad. We were prepared & expected it to of happened the week before. Even the Jr. Mechanic was good about it, went down to her bed & gave her a good bye pet then went on his way.

Glad the kid took it well. 17 is a pretty good run for a cat. Still sad to see them go though.

I ran around today with my backpack blower and cleaned up leaves. This thing is a monster. Echo PB-8010. Supposed to be the most powerful backpack blower you can buy. I even used it to blow the dog sh*t across the yard and into the woods.
