I found Cheerios & a expired condom pack :wtf:

Clearly the previous owner bought the condoms, failed to use them, and ended up a parent.

If your floorboards don't feel spongy, then it is not going to be near that bad. I live in the rust belt, and I had about three 2" holes to patch. Sucked but not too badly.

Make sure you change out your door and window seals early in the project. There is nothing that makes you cringe like seeing water in the floorboards after welding up your floor pans. Ask me how I know...

Now those are the gifts that keep on giving...

First you pass the expired condoms off on a buddy you need to get back at.

Then wait 8-12 months, and give him the cheerios, he'll need them
a friend did that to me bought me some condoms and poked holes in them boy was she ticked at him

I had an 81' Regal t-top car long ago for my beater work car and I knew the floorboards needed work but didn't realize how much until one early morning on my way to work after a heavy rain I hit a huge puddle and the force of the water was so hard from underneath it blew the carpeting up and filled the entire interior with dirty water and old carpet insulation, I was covered completely in this mess and had to get in my work truck and drive straight home and take a shower and then I let the car sit at the shop for a couple days to dry out.
Needless to say I knew what the next project was after a thorough cleaning.
