I just read through it as well. Luckily for me, I've never found anything more than slight rust dust in all the projects I've done when pulling the carpet.
Found build sheets, broadcast sheets, gum, money, McDonald's fries that could be 30 or 3 years old, hard to tell, they never expire.
I can't wait to pull up the carpet in the 85 442. I've had it since new and nothing's been touched. I'd love to find a build sheet, but usually they're permanently affixed to something when under the carpet. It's an Arlington car, so anything is possible.
