I have the Nitto DRs on mine - but when they get old they become hard as a rock. They literally spin at idle when I am backing out of my garage.

bfg radial t/a rwl..i also have some generic road hugger rwl tires that have wore very well, not sure if these are still made.

I have the BFG G-Force T/A KDW 245-50ZR16's and find them the best tire I have ever had. It's not the new style with the radical design which looks ridiculous in my opinion. It's too bad they stopped production of the tread pattern I have and I'm trying to find another set

x2... somehow, they managed to make them soft enough for outstanding grip, yet hard enough to last and last... mine are on their 5th or 6th summer of hard driving

Bang for the buck white letters that fit 14s & 15s Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s. I have had two sets of BFG Radial TAs and if nothing else is available in the size I want I will run them but for the same money the Firestone is much better. I liked my stones and got lots of compliments on how they looked. Also had some BFG blackwall Comp TAs that were outstanding actually still have some. If you are building a solid 12 second or faster street car use drag radials in the back. I have had great luck with Both M&H and Nittos. They hold up well for a drag radial and can shed some rain when newer. The BFG & M&T drag radials are more suited for track only. They both suck in the rain and wear fast. Nitto & M&H also have great sizes for 17 & 18 rims. Larger rims with ultra low profiles spin to easy to be much good on a fast car well at least for acceleration.

BFGoodrich Radial T/As. Ride good and look the best IMO.

i agree on look but Id stay away from radial t/a. I had 3 out of 4 almost new ones broke belts on power tour a couple years ago(from tire barn). They would not honor warranty. went with some daytona brand tires (cheap goodyears) they have been great and ride slightly better.

ive never seen cars perform so differently than the difference between michelin and other tires

michelin all the way

My uncle was one of the firestone 500 so I stick w/

BFG's. Best snow tire I ever had was a LM-22 , now called LM-26 these days

NOTHING BUT MICHELIN. I RUN THE FACTORY TIRES TILL THEIR GONE AND REPLACE WITH MICHELIN.

I was a BF Goodrich fan, but now I am really liking the Riken Raptors that I tried on the wife's car.
Wear real good and the grip is nice.
