You would probably like the 2 cars my brother is selling 1 is a 69 W-30 4speed convertible and the other is a 69 Hurst Olds the Hurst needs restoration but the W-30 got a997 and a gold certificate View attachment 67390 his prices are steep tho
Hey, there were '69 H/Os with 455s I would be interested in. Unfortunately, unless it is a custom [not original] restore, the 68-69 442s got the 400 tractor engines 3.8 bore/4.25 stroke . . . Detroit's first attempt at reducing hydrocarbons. They would absolutely broil the pi$$ out the the tires but didn't run that great and were low rpm motors. Now, the early 400s, in those 65-67s were exactly square, very solid, and would actually rap to 7000rpm regularly and live. Used the same all forged 3.975 stroke 425 C&R that I put in my custom 455 block in my '87.
That convertible I posted above was all original early 400 but did have the less desirable auto transmission and the paint was not originally red/black, 56K original miles as I recall, and sold for only $28K in the tent. A hardtop, same year, not a bit nicer but with the tri-power 4 speed went for $121K across the block.
