Given the existing choices, V8. Write-in vote: Inline six with glass packs. Really retro. (Turn up the speakers.)

Block me! There's something alluring about my Series 2 bark that I have grown to love. It's obnoxious and raspy, nothing like a refined 24 valve of modern day.

They have a very distinct startup sound, I love it. Probably one of the better sounding V6s.

I'm also missing the lack of an option for the inline 6 family.

I'll just listen to my truck's 250 in the corner.

Without both compression and overlap any engine will sound like crap. Low compression and high overlap sounds like a boat (basically any 80s factory engine with a 3/4 race cam - you know who you are). High compression and low overlap sounds like a minivan (because emissions).

My Hellcat and TBSS both sound like sh*t compared to to the wagon. Adding a louder exhaust (no mufflers of any value) doesn't make a better sounding car.

The Monte is just an odd duck.

I'll take a super high-compression, huge cammed, roots blown, big block anything any day - a total earth shaker.
