mine was made in Canada and is now residing with me in tupelo ms
 
I haven't found the build sheet for my 86' Regal yet and I have had the complete interior out so I think the only place left for it to be is on top of the gas tank as far as known hiding places.

I wasn't really concerned where the Regal was built it's finding that 30+ year old build sheet that is the fun part.
 
Leeds plant in Kansas City, MO. Wish I had made a copy of the original title as it said what dealership sold it and to show I actually got it from the original owner. Hopefully I can find the build sheet when I go through the interior.

Times sure have changed as most of those plants have been shuttered by GM.
 
My 86 442 was built in Pontiac, MI. I have my build sheet somewhere but I got the dealership invoice from GM Heritage.

81 Malibu wagon was built in Texas, R in the vin.

78 Camino was Fremont California. Z in the vin
