You're welcome. It was part of this complex, the north end of which is now a U-Pull yard....thank you, that got me in the right area to figure this out. cool. time to go take pictures this summer.

My 87 Cutlass Supreme came from St Therese and yes it has a 305. I believe north of the border, you only find 307's in 442's.I read somewhere that all of the Monte SS cars were built in TX. Most of the Canada cars didn't get the CCC system ( but the 442 and Monte SS did being they were built in the US )
The CDN Cutlass got the chev 305 for "base" power instead of the 307. Must have made it easier on the Oshawa and St Therese plant to do it that way.
