oh. well then, anyone need some trans cross member bushings? $15 for all 4.
ok back to other things... i have a timing light that i bought from autozone for cheap. my question is, its adjustable and i have no idea where im supposed to set it to, also the strobe isnt consistant. as i use it the strobe "misses" and then works, at random. should i get a non adjustable timing gun or just say fuggit and use what i got?

If I remember correctly the adj timing light works as so turn dial to what you want the timing to be then when your adj the timing it will read 0 at the balancer . Make sure that you dont have a miss with the ignition and make sure you have good connections at the batt . Good luck

oh, ok! now I know. Well yesterday I got to replace my transmission cross member with the one from gbodyparts.com. It wasnt too hard, but it was my first time and I of course didnt know what I was doing, but I figured out I needed to jack up the transmission and get the bolts out. The hardest part was cleaning up all the rust off the driveway after I pulled it out and put it on its end. it was AMAZ-Z-ZING how much rust came outa this thing! Ill get some pics of the new one in. Oh and I have the stock cross member bushings, anyone need em?

*edit*

:bump:

tell me about it... i took it to the curb to leave for the mexican scrapper guy and while i had it standing up on one end i slammed it on the street a few time and a HUGE pile of rust fell outa every hole.

well ive been really lazy lately on getting my elky driveable. i got my mini bike up and running and now that i have some money im thinking that i should take my car into my buddys shop to get it tuned right. its been too long since ive been messing with it. im starting to feel guilty about leaving her alone for so long.

just waiting for a day off now...

well this week i planned on getting my elky to my buddys shop, but instead i had to get new lower control arms on my saturn because the ball joint was almost nonexistant. and then i had to get new tires mounted aswell. so for 2 new lower control arms and 2 new tires and mount and balance cost me like 550 bucks. dammit. and now i have 2 week to get the elky on the road. so that means registration, plate stickers, and i wanna get classic car plates so i dont have to get plate stickers every year but every 4 years. i went on the internet and was playing around with classic car vanity plates and i came up with this:
PUSYLQR
