then i drove it around the block, i think i have a vaccume leak somewhere, prolly between the carb and the intake. oh an the best part of my day was when i was chugging down the street at idle i see this guy washing his 89 crx, we lock eyes and he mean mugs me, and i give him the look like, "thats right b*tch" as i drive by not skipping a beat. its fun terrorizing my neighborhood without even touching the gas pedal  all the scared looks of the parents as they go and grab there kids. hehe im a horrible person.

no one? :wtf:

Those crossmember bushings go with two on each side. They sandwich the crossmember.
None of the aftermarket crossmembers use them, and just bolt directly to the frame.
Up to you how you want to mount it, I guess. I have G-force crossmembers on both my cars...

I think that muffler is more geared towards trucks, where dual pipes run along one side because of the fuel tank.
Unless you could have an inlet on each end, and mount it sideways behind the axle...

I think you'd be better off with a traditional x-pipe set-up.

so i have cross member bushings that i dont need/cant use? ok that sux. :blam:

yesterday i got my transmission cross member from gbody parts and its kewl. not too heavy eather. so i was thinking, since i already have the bushings, couldnt i cut them in half and use only 2 to sandwhich them when i put them on the frame, or is that a bad idea?

Might put the driveshaft at an angle and cause a vibration? The trans tailshaft would be at the wrong angle. Also its pretty tight in there..

Fire the bushings away, it won't hurt a thing. Their a pain in the *ss , I fire them in the burning barrel.
