I'm surely in the hundreds of rockauto orders over the last few years. Never once have they sent me the wrong parts. They send what you buy is my experience.

They probably do get it right 99.9% of the time.

I'm just curious in this case how much cheaper they are on 8 spark plugs. If a person is hundreds of miles from the nearest parts store it's probably feasible. Otherwise I doubt it.
At $5 a plug that's $40 per set. At even 20% off that's a savings of $8. If $8 is seriously that critical, I'd consider re-gapping the old plugs and milking them for a while. Just my 'over the top' opinion.

BTW...….Advance Auto Parts gives me a 20% coupon (if not 25%) every time I log on to their site.

I am having an issue now with adapters I ordered on the 13th, I had to go though paypal as a guest cause I do not use paypal. Paypal shipped it by USPS which is good but they shipped it first class mail which is the cheapest way but there is no tracking available. Last notification I got it arrived in Chicago International Distribution center on the 17th and I cannot find any info on it. I had no options on how it was shipped, I detest paypal
As stated, Paypal doesn't ship anything. RockAuto did. You would need to go through Rockauto to get that resolved. Paypal only sends you an email because the system tags you when they update the part is shipped (paypal keeps tabs on stuff like that) so they only act like they're important after they transfer the money. The sad part about USPS 1st class shipping it is anything but. It will bounce around several USPS centers while in Chicago (or any big city- takes my stuff usually 2 or 3 days just to get OUT of Atlanta) and it will FINALLY be on its way to you. USPS is hit or miss as well and could be days behind updating their stuff. Only as good as your workers. And USPS has some good ones, but like anyone else, has a bunch of bad ones, too.

It's not RockAuto who shipped the item that is sitting somewhere.

You didn't say who it was to begin with and I simply had to assume that since this is a Rockauto WTF thread... Regardless who shipped it, they are the ones you'll have to fight with on the shipping if need be, but if you complain to paypal after a grace period, you may can get your money back from (insert name of seller here) if they don't deliver.

So i go to a family owned car quest and i got a house account and they will deliver to my house best part is they know what there doing you can ask them for a BBC oil filter and you won't hear them say what year car is that for.
Don't take that great experience for granted. Parts stores like that are extinct here.

^^^^ in reply to 500/600's question re plug prices on rockauto.....they sell plugs at approximately a dollar a piece.....if you're a racer and need lots of them, the savings soon add up....
