so I had the day off today and was able to spend some more time on the lower piece of the heater box, I removed the harness and used the goof off on the sealant to clean it all up and washed it in the bath tub with hot water and dish soap. I forgot to take a picture of the finished product, but take my word for it nice and shiny clean just like the top, there was a lot of crap in it

the firewall hush mat was in bad shape the black plastic is glued to two pieces of jute mat and the glue was dry and crumbling so I made a new one I was able to save the inner pad but not the outer so after separating them I got a piece of black boat seat vinyl I traced the pattern out glued a piece of foam then glued the jute I saved to that cut the holes that were needed and installed it

I installed a new headliner but I foind the replacement had the dome light in the wrong place so I carefully used a razor knife to score and snap the correct hole in the plastic luckily the fome covers the hole that came in it so you cant tell its there I put the sail panels in and the upper rear seat I had to ebay fro a new seat belt retractor because one of mine was broke. I sprayed the dash and attaching pieces tonight they look real nice now

That color is the Dark Carmine Red right? Does someone make that color in dye paint, or did you have to have it custom mixed? Looking great so far by the way. Keep it up.

yup its dark carmine red and I had a bad time finding, or at least a person that could mix it correctly. SEM has it so, any SEM dealer can mix it and I just spray it out of a gun
