hi everyone ben a while I have ben busy with my daughter as she is starting to walk, but I wanted to share some updates. currently the engine trans and axle are in the chassis and running and trans works good, but I will have to pull the engine and trans i back out to install brake lines, tight with the headers and oil pan and stuff,i pulled the interior and installed bucket seat conversion brackets and console brackets got the lightning rods mounted and all mocked up also I pulled the second to the rear mount out of the body so I could repair it I ordered a new headliner and am preparing to re dye all the vinyl and plastic almost forgot I converted the rear drum brakes on the 8.5 axle to 98-02 Camaro disk brakes. I got a few things done and some started when I get some free time ill load some more pics

just an update, I gutted the interior so I could dye the dash and replace the firewall insulation it was falling apart and while I do that I can clean up the hvac box and clean and paint the firewall i did dye some of the plastic panels and they look good

I also pulled the dash, door panels, and removed a body mount and started fixing it.I also stripped all the hvac system so I can clean the firewall up IMG_1870.JPG IMG_1871.JPG IMG_1872.JPG IMG_1933.JPG

I managed to get the drivers side rear floor fixed in the corner and got all the holes welded up so Im kinda sick of that stuff so I moved on to some other projects this weekend I dipped the pedals and brackets for the dash and painted them and started cleaning up the hvac box this proved to be very difficult because of the sound deadner/caulk stuff from the factory I found a product called goof off that takes the stuff right off with very little odor then a hot water and dish soap bath in the bath tub, my wife was not impressed with that. I was able to save the little sticker on the top also not that its important but I like it there
