Got my new 750 90 percent installed. Switched to electric choke only to discover the wire I want to tap into off the alternator isn’t getting full power. Today’s project if the wife doesn’t have me visiting her family all day ( Easter)

parts are much cheaper and readily available.you could rebuild a sbc on a sunday @ the parts store.

Found a lot of broken/corroded wiring , good thing I was able to pick up a complete harness from tuffregal, in case I need it to adapt to the 4.3.
Will probably do the floors while the engine is out, and may have a 5spd to go in as well...

You DO realize that for most people, these are not things that are done frequently. Plugs, yeah, but who needs access to the oil pump (except for shitty Buick- designed owners).

Annoying rocker adjustment...what, you think adjustable rockers are hard to deal with? Rather have to measure/buy pushrods every time head or block is decked or head gasket thickness changes?

I get the whole dare to be different mindset, but why the hate for what millions of people and racers have been very successful with?
