Hooked up the Cteck charger to the Red Top, checked the build year of my spare T5 WC and it's an 88, put the GP up in the air to check the build year of the T5 WC and that one is also an 88. I want to rebuild one so I wanted to use the most current one. I wish one was a 90's cause they have a better gear set. I looked on Kijiji to see if there was any GM 90's T5 and there is no Gm T5 at all being sold on kijiji in Canada

replaced the plugs,got the consul light working. finished up the new trans line. as i was finishing up my grandson showed up and wanted to sit in the drivers seat.

Tried to go drag racing, ****ing place was closed. What *ssh*les only have a strip open 10am-4pm on a saturday. wtf is this a bank?
Also overheated, P/S seized, and I now have less than 4psi of oil pressure at idle. All on the drive up there.

Looked at it.. installed a new trunk weather strip and played with the SS spoiler that’s gonna get installed next weeks.

Was dicking around with my tune parameters the other day in the garage. Working on the idle tuning and a few off idle issues and I went between forward and reverse a couple times to check throttle and how she recovers when dropped from load. Everything was going good, the tune is getting ironed out nicely so I put it to bed and carried on with prepping the house to sell.

Fast forward to today, a buddy stopped by to give me a hand moving some furniture so we were gonna go for a rip. One problem, reverse is very weak. Seems someone wore down the reverse band..... Still went for a rip, 3-4 function fine but first was weak on decel. Seems this is pretty normal for a 4L80 and is easily fixed with a longer reverse piston rod. I was gonna drop the pan to adjust the pressure modulator so I might as well fix this.... 😡
