Cleaned it up a bit.. really contemplating selling it.

1970 VW Westfalia Bus.
Interior is out of it at the moment.
Really a solid starter.. front floors were rusty and were patched, but not replaced. Nose has putty. Dent in the rear drivers corner, but have an entire corner replacement.
Runs, Shifts... All new brakes.. new (correct) tires..
Needs: Put together, Fuel Pump (Currently rigged to check engine status), belt, oil seal (the easy one), and some wiring work.. Seats out of a CR-V.. leave it as patina or sand and paint.. or just do what I was going to do and do plasti-dip.. lol For 50 years old, its bound to have putty in it I dont know about, but a solid starting point.. have all kinds of parts from new CV Axles with boots to VW Emblems, gaskets, seals, blah blah.. box-o-parts, basically.. $5k

If you were closer I'd be on my way with a trailer.

Got an '05-06 Camry SE grille to match my '05-06 SE tail lights. Then DA polished the car with Meguiar's 105. It got all of the oxidation off of the paint and a lot of the swirl marks. The paint on this car is far from perfect with 215,000 miles worth of rock chips, nicks, scratches and swirls on it. Still looks good if you aren't nitpicking it though.

Tires are getting worn out and that makes for a prime opportunity to find some used factory 17s.

I'll have to see if my auto body supplier stocks it. I hate, hate, hate detailing cars so I'll try anything to make it faster or easier.

When I was working in the auto body field the only product we ever used was 3M Perfect It Machine Polish followed by Presta Fast Wax. That was as far as we ever took anything. The 3M stuff is a good all around polish but it really only works with a wool pad and a rotary buffer. It doesn't do jack sh*t with a DA.

I just use this stuff with a rag

With a DA or buffer it must work even better

I've been running 10w30 Quaker State High Mileage and it's actually been pretty manageable. Still losing about a quart every 1500 miles or so, but that's a huge improvement from when my sister was the primary driver. I guess it goes to show driving style can make a big difference.

The new O2 sensor did fix the CEL, and other than a starter I haven't had to do anything mechanical to it. Inspection in up in November so I'm going to have to do a few things before then but nothing serious.
