Might still look like a mess, but you should've seen it before I started cleaning this morning. I have a truck load of stuff to take to the dump right under where I was standing to take the pic. Still have more to go but it felt good to get this far. One more engine cradle to build and I can slip that engine under the work bench on the right.

Sweet trailer wheels!!

Yeah I grabbed them at a swap meet in angst since I drove there and didn't see anything else I wanted. Out of protest I bought them since they were like $20 and didn't and to leave empty handed.

They did come in handy a few years later when I built the trailer. The hubs on the trailer are lt1 era 4th gen hubs so it was a no brainier.

Sadly trailers are about the only thing you can use 14" wheels on anymore.

After doing odd ends around the house I worked on the Regal. Took out the u- bend pipe and welded in the ZZP pipe. Man I like working on rusty exhaust, not! Had to drill out the rusted studs in the flange and fix a broken hanger. They say this mod is one of the best things you can do. You can see why.

After I got that all buttoned up i removed my factory blower pulley. They make a special puller for that, but I am a cheap ****er. I did not want to spend 125 bucks on a puller installer. I recommend you buy the puller now. I am replacing it with a half inch smaller pulley. Hear is a picture of the mangled pulley next to the new one.

Ordered some parts for my next restoration project: Our Broil King Regal BBQ.

It needs a new 20" H burner (good to 50,000 BTU), cast iron grilles/grates, and I got one of those fancy stainless flame arrestors because the lava rocks just make a huge mess of things as they wear out. I spent about as much on parts (with a local company) as I could have on a replacement. But, this beast has an all-aluminum cast body and I have had one of these models in my life since I was in my teens... I remember when my Dad proudly brought it home. Natasha found this one for next to nothing, in great condition, when we first moved to Ottawa 10 years ago - and it has served us very well.

Hopefully it won't have much downtime, or I end up with one of those shitty stamped stainless bougie BBQs because it has more issues than I anticipated.

fixed a slow leak in one of the tires on the Jeep, it was leaking around the valve but that valve didn't look it would have a problem when I removed it and there was no corrosion on the rim. I hate slow leaks cause you know they will come to haunt you at the worst time and no sense ruining a tire....
