Yea, I ordered a balancer install tool to push the balancer and crankshaft where it should be...that's my only issue with my motor currently, besides needing a carburetor, but that will be ready in about 10 days...Did you get everything else working on the motor first?

Or, the other correct answer would be just use the original, stock, functional fan, and after having purchased a wrong flex fan the last thing a 'firebreathing' old 305 needs is to buy yet another fan setup when we keep hearing about budget and lack of funds. All tolled, about $400, since you need a fan shroud, too, If I remember correctly. If you can find one at a local junkyard or other source, you should be able to get it cheaper than from Mike.
That'll cool your 305, and if you decide to upgrade in the future, a 350 or 383. Will bolt right in with no modifications, and will be less expensive and less work in the long and short run.
If you go electric you'll need something to hold the radiator in place, as the fan shroud is what does the job from the factory. This is the cheapest thing I've found to do that job: https://www.dixierestorationdepot.com/Product/Detail.aspx?s=DM10155 WITHOUT
Then you'll need to wire the fans to the car. There are various wire kits to do this, you'll want one that uses a relay, and if you plan to use the AC, you'll want to use two temperature sensors, one that kicks on at your thermostat temp, and another that kicks on 10 or so degrees higher, so you're not running them both at the same time, if you don't need all the cooling they can provide. These wire harnesses usually run about $100.
After that, you'll want to upgrade your alternator, to provide for the extra amp draw the fans will need, figure out what your current alternator provides, if you have a part number on it that'll be the easiest way to go, then add about 20-30 amps and look for an alternator that will provide at least that much.
After all that, you should land somewhere in the $500-$600 range, to get it all right, at least that's the total I came to when I was looking into doing this swap.
