In preparation of the H4 bulb and lens upgrade I got from Dixie Restoration, I removed the front cover to get a better access to the headlight trim rings and dividers. I know they’re accessible from the front without removing the cover but I didn’t wanna scratch the edges of the cover more than it already was and this gives me a reason to clean behind there as well. I got the trim removed and will clean it and paint tomorrow. It’s cloudy and rainy here in Arizona this week so I need to find the right time with just enough sun. Never thought I’d have to worry about that here. Any suggestion on things to do while the cover is off and I have access to this part of the car?

Finally decided to take care of a couple slow leaks on the front tires of the Silver Stallion, needs new front tires anyway and wanted the beads clean and protected and hopefully leak free when I get the new shoes. One was worse than I thought, but cleaned up with some major “pitting” if you can call it that at this stage.
The HF manual tire changer is a must have!

Guess I forgot to take a pic of said pitting after cleaning and painting.

Those beads cleaned up nice.
And as you already know, you can always post a picture of the painted rims later. We always look at the pictures.

Driver side is basically done. I'll need to torque the a arms once the weight is on the suspension, and adjust the coilover. Dang it looks good, can't wait to see how it rides but that'll be a bit obviously. Couldn't find the right metric hardware for the a arms, so I swapped to 1/2" which required opening up the holes in the frame.

On my '78 Monte, I remounted my driver's side fender and attached the hood hinge after replacing both door hinges and getting the door adjusted just right. Still have a few bolts to go... Also epoxied the new turn signal lens to the housing since I had it all apart.

I'd like to find someone around Greenville SC to coat mine...
more times than not it's not "really'' cost effective to have them coated but they don't make these ones anymore and i've got a killer exhaust that i don't want to cut up to mate a new set.jet hot coatings, the largest coater going is just over 3 hrs from you so shipping them might not to be too bad.some powder coat shops around here offer high temp coatings as well.might be worth an ask if there's anyone coating in your area.
