If you look closely, the pavement is wet. They're all still there, including the one at the opening to get behind the barrier, because they're stuck due to being unable to handle the slightest bit of bad weather
well, I don't know what day that was but it did rain a measurable amount here in Austin today. and if that pic was taken from above in a vehicle, there's only place there that could happen

And when the battery/hydrogen/flux capacitor/squirrel cage dies- recycle time.
Recycle? What's that? People don't replace EV batteries. Saw an article just the other day, weeds engulfing fields full of dead EVs in China, can't even scrap them all. Where do they go here?

Recycle? What's that?

Is anyone familiar with the East German car called the Trabant? ['Trabi' to fans]. It was the world's worst car, no power, smokey pollution, no space, no gauges, made from recycled crap, and it did not deteriorate. The abandoned body is still being found trashed in places where it is collected and buried. Relatives in Slovakia say that if you found one along side the road, you were able to scavenge parts for your own. This went on until the fall of the Iron Curtain. Now they are collector's items. Kids like to work on them because they are so simple. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trabant

So does that mean that there are now half as many Buick dealers nationwide?
Well from what I understand this has happened silently over the past year, but yes. Most of the dealers had at least one other brand so it probably wasn't too noticeable to the public.

Right, so those people can keep their doors open. But now there are 50% fewer locations from which to purchase the brand. I can't wrap my head around why they'd willingly cut down their reach like that and expect the brand would continue to grow as it has been. It's not like they can sell what they bought from those dealers to someone else to sell these cars. Now we just sit back and watch the brand implode. They want 100% electric by 2030 on something that people aren't buying. What a great business plan.

I think their plan is if nothing is offered BUT EVs, people will HAVE to buy EVs.

Market collusion on the grandest scale.

If enough manufacturers buy in, it ends up working.

One has to wonder where the oil companies are in all of this. They've manipulated the market to benefit their business before.

I do wonder with those buy outs, how many still have another GM brand they sell? In Indiana, Pa there's Delaney's which had Buick but now the main location is just a Chevy dealership. Will they fold that location when it's Chevy's turn to pressure the EV? Will it turn GM into a limited location seller as these owners boot all GM brands as it comes time to pressure the EV conversion?
