If you haven't already, get a Jeep lower shaft bushing/bearing. The GM one is crappy in comparison.
That's odd. I guess that was the plan to get rid of cruise control for your setup since you have a cruise lever on it now.
It's all good. Other than the lever, all the other part numbers for the column would not be affected by getting rid of the cruise. The wiper switch inside is different only whether you have or don't have pulse wipers, but that's pretty much it with a tilt/floor shift column.The plan all along was to get rid of the cruise. I hate that big clunky vacuum disk just sitting there in plain sight. It's an eyesore as far as I'm concerned.
